Alaska’s port communities rely on a variety of fees charged to cruise vessels and passengers to fund port infrastructure, regulatory compliance, public safety, and visitor services. With cruise visitation increasing and competition among cruise destinations intensifying, PCOA seeks a clear, data-driven understanding of how Alaska’s cruise-related fees compare to those in other U.S. and international cruise markets, including both public and private port facilities.
