Overview Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care) – Sitka, Alaska, United States. This travel temporary assignment begins on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,598 to $2,726. Shift: four 10-hour days. Setting: outpatient rehabilitation services with a pediatric clinic focus; flu vaccination is required. Alaska license is required at time of submittal. The role centers on general SLP evaluations and treatments impacting functional abilities across a broad age range, with occasional work in multiple care settings as needed.

- Conduct SLP evaluations and establish therapy plans with measurable goals for adults and pediatrics
- Implement, supervise, and adjust therapy interventions to optimize patient outcomes
- Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and prognoses in the medical record per policy
- Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals; participate in care conferences and rounds
- Develop, teach, and monitor home exercise programs; provide clear instructions to patients and families
- Maintain appropriate clinical space, equipment, and supply inventory; comply with confidentiality and quality standards
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- CCC-SLP credential required
- State of Alaska license in Speech-Language Pathology required at time of submittal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric outpatient experience required
- Flu vaccine required
- Ability to work in outpatient clinic settings with a diverse patient population
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- 13-week travel assignment
- No employer-provided housing or flights; rate is all inclusive
- Ongoing assignment support and coordination through the hiring organization
