Overview Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care) – Sitka, Alaska, United States. This travel temporary assignment begins on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. • Conduct SLP evaluations and establish therapy plans with measurable goals for adults and pediatrics
• Implement, supervise, and adjust therapy interventions to optimize patient outcomes
• Document assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and prognoses in the medical record per policy
• Collaborate with referring physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals; participate in care conferences and rounds
• Develop, teach, and monitor home exercise programs; provide clear instructions to patients and families
• Maintain appropriate clinical space, equipment, and supply inventory; comply with confidentiality and quality standards

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP credential required
• State of Alaska license in Speech-Language Pathology required at time of submittal
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric outpatient experience required
• Flu vaccine required
• Ability to work in outpatient clinic settings with a diverse patient population

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week travel assignment
