Baptist Health is seeking to add an Emergency Department Technician to our
Emergency Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity.Assists Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department with patient care and daily healthcare needs. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, maintaining a safe patient environment, collecting lab specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record. Works under the supervision of an RN to help ensure quality patient care and efficient Emergency Department operations.
- Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
- Maintaining a safe environment.
- Intake and Output monitoring.
- Electronic medical record documentation.
- Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- High School Diploma Required
- Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed EMT or CNA Required
High School
- Hospital Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - DOH
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant - DOH
