Hotel Worker:
The front desk clerk or assistant is responsible for greeting, monitoring visitors, providing assistance to customers. Job duties include checking in and out guests, helping with questions, answering phones, performing front desk tasks. Front desk employees must have a clean and impeccable appearance and exceptional customer service skills. Participants will be responsible for taking payment for hotel rooms as well as small items customers wish to purchase from concession area.

This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. currency, and the ability to work a computer based system and/or a credit card machine.

Participants may also be offered the opportunity to work as a Breakfast Attendant. In this role, participants are responsible primarily for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet, and for maintaining the breakfast dining area. Employees must have good communication and customer service skills, as this is a fast-paced position with continuous customer contact. Duties also include some serving of guests such as pouring coffee, clearing tables, cleaning dining and buffet area, and maintaining storage room and breakfast supply inventories.

In the housekeeper role, participants are responsible for cleaning (laundry no more than 15%, dusting and vacuuming, tidying) guest rooms and property common areas. Guest rooms are typical one and two bedroom hotel rooms. Job duties include picking up after a guest, preparing fresh linens, making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows (usually less frequently), cleaning the bathroom and toilet, keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories, and keeping the bathrooms stocked with supplies.

Will be using cleaning supplies. Rooms:  Will be in contact with cleaning chemicals and pork products.

Pay Rate $15.00 Per Hour. Average Hour / Week 32 Hours. Housing Rate Free Housing. Housing Details Participants will share 1-2 bedrooms, 1 to 2 participants are assigned per room depending on size; each with own bed. Participants will be sharing bathrooms, no more than 2 per bathroom. Facilities are fully furnished with shared sitting room; no kitchen in apartments; however, each room has a microwave.

Also, participants can use the full kitchen at the hotel. Laundry facilities at the hotel for use for free.
