Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Architect to lead architecture, development, and performance optimization initiatives across enterprise implementations. The role will focus on designing scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for Finance and Supply Chain Management, particularly within regulated healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality development, robust integrations, and compliance with US GAAP/IRS and Indian GST/TDS regulations, supporting multi-region deployments across USA and India.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical design and development of D365 F&O customizations, extensions, and enhancements using X++, Power Platform, and extensibility frameworks.

Define and implement data models, security architecture (roles, SoD, encryption), and performance strategies aligned with healthcare compliance and audit requirements.

Oversee Dev Ops processes using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD pipelines, build automation, testing, and deployment across environments.

Conduct code reviews, fit-gap analysis, and performance tuning for high-volume transactional workloads such as AR/AP, claims processing, and procurement.

Design and troubleshoot integrations using OData, custom services, batch processing, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.

Lead data migration initiatives using Data Management Framework (DMF) ensuring data quality across master and transactional datasets.

Collaborate with functional and offshore teams for requirements analysis, PoCs, implementation, and hypercare support.

Support pre‑sales activities including solutioning, technical proposals, effort estimation, and demos for healthcare RFPs.

Mentor junior developers and enforce Microsoft best practices to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.

Required Experience

8-12 years of overall IT experience

  • 5+ years in D365 F&O / AX development
  • 3+ years as a Technical Architect or Senior Developer

Strong experience delivering 3+ full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations

Hands‑on experience with X++ development, extensions, and Azure integrations

Experience in multi‑country deployments (USA & India)

Familiarity with ERP process flows, inventory systems, and financial modules

Experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed team environments

Technical Skills
  • Expertise in X++, Visual Studio, and D365 extensibility (extensions, CoC)
  • Strong experience with LCS, Azure Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Hands‑on Experience With Azure Services (Logic Apps, Functions)
  • Knowledge of SQL optimization and performance tuning
  • Experience with Data Entities, DMF, SSRS, and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of D365 Finance (GL/AP/AR) and SCM (Procurement, Inventory)
  • Experience in security architecture and compliance implementations
Education & Certifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Domain Experience (Preferred)

Healthcare industry exposure including:

  • Clinical supply chain and pharmacy inventory
  • Patient billing integrations
  • Claims processing and procurement workflows
