Schedule:
Four 10‑hour shifts (Monday–Thursday, 6:45 AM–4:45 PM). Alternate schedule may be available (Tuesday–Friday). Overtime opportunities offered.
TDL Staffing is seeking dependable Mine Laborers to support mill maintenance operations at a site located approximately 45 minutes outside of Fairbanks. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and being part of a fast‑paced industrial environment.
In this role, you’ll assist mechanics with maintenance tasks, operate equipment as needed, and help keep the site clean, organized, and running efficiently. The work is performed in a variety of outdoor conditions, so the right candidate is reliable, follows direction well, and maintains a strong focus on safety.
What You’ll Do- Assist with mill maintenance and general labor tasks
- Support mechanics by gathering tools, materials, and equipment
- Perform site cleanup and maintain organized work areas
- Operate or assist with equipment such as loaders, forklifts, or skid steers
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a productive team environment
The ideal candidate is a hard worker who is comfortable working in outdoor conditions that may include heat, cold, wet, or dusty environments. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to follow direction are important in this role. A safety‑focused mindset and a dependable work ethic are essential for success.
Minimum Requirements- Previous construction or general labor experience required
- Experience operating equipment such as loaders, forklifts, or similar machinery preferred
- Basic tool knowledge and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to perform labor‑intensive work in outdoor environments
Reliable transportation to and from the work site (approximately 45 minutes outside Fairbanks) - Valid driver’s license preferred
- Steel toe boots required
- Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
