• Participation in on-call rotation required for urgent and emergent surgical cases

• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Unrestricted RN license, Alaska (or eligibility)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) required
• Ability to obtain additional specialty certifications within six months, as needed
• Clinical, high-risk competencies validated before preceptorship completion and annually
• Proficiency with electronic health records
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, extended standing, moderate-to-high noise environment

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans for surgical patients
• Circulate during procedures, ensuring readiness, documentation, and workflow coordination
• Advocate for patient safety, facilitate team communication, and support sterile staff
• Administer medications and interventions safely
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance
• Support orientation and mentorship of staff and students
