Overview
Registered Nurse – Infusion travel assignment in Sitka, Alaska. Begin 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $3,097 to $3,227. Shifts are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (no lunch) or 8:00 am–5:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch. This role provides infusion services in a hospital setting. A background check with fingerprinting is required;
start date may be delayed until processing is completed.

08/24/2026 - Work setting: infusion care in a hospital-type environment in Sitka, AK
- Travel assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC; housing and flights not provided; applicants must reside 50+ miles away from the site
- Administer infusion therapies and manage peripheral or central IV access as ordered
- Monitor patient response, vital signs, and adverse reactions; document findings in the electronic health record
- Coordinate referrals, tests, and treatments for infusion patients; help schedule and track appointments
- Communicate results with referring providers and infusion patients to complete the care circle
- Provide guidance to clinic staff and participate in quality and staff development activities
- Educate patients and families about infusion therapy, safety, and post-discharge care plans
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Alaska or another U.S. state;
Direct Hire must have Alaska license before start; agency staff must hold an active Alaska license - BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; prior infusion specialty experience preferred
- Ability to operate IV infusion pumps, monitoring equipment, and use electronic health records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing degree and full competency within required timelines
- Must be able to work in a hospital-based infusion setting and complete required onboarding/competency checks (within 3 months of hire and every 3 years)
- Dedicated assignment and recruiter support throughout the travel period
- Credentialing, onboarding, and license processing assistance
- Access to clinical education resources and ongoing competency updates
- No housing or travel arrangements provided; travelers must arrange their own housing and transportation
- Compliance and safety guidance available to support patient-care standards
