Salary Range: $25.00 To $40.00 Hourly
SummaryThis position will work with the carpentry team to ensure assigned work projects are completed.
Responsibilities- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings and guidelines
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
- Ability to interact professionally and communicate with employees with expectations and direction regarding schedules, construction methods, company policies and procedures, permits, safety, quality control and other performance standards.
- Understand project specifications, and the scope of work and see that they are fully performed in the field.
- Cleans up worksite debris.
- Special projects may be assigned as required by the business.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- 1 year work experience in carpentry.
- Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications.
- Ability to safely operate machinery.
- Must pass a security background check and DOT drug test.
- Prior experience in a similar laborer, support, or technician role
- Valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Environmental conditions generally include cool inside temperature, low to high level inside lighting, moderate to loud noise levels, all weather conditions, and frequent use of required personal protective equipment.
- Work in a warehouse. May be dusty, colder environment, occasional outdoor work.
- Ability to walk on uneven deck surfaces crossing from vessel to vessel.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Repeatedly required to climb vertical ladders.
- Regularly required to talk, hear, or smell as well as use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and sometimes lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to possibly include weekends and holidays.
- Must adhere to AM Owner Group & Affiliated Companies United States Coast Guard Consortium Drug & Alcohol Policies & Procedures.
