Oil & Gas Journeyman Electricians - Rotational - Accommodations Provided - North Slope, AK

NANA Construction is seeking Journeyman Electricians to join their team on the North Slope, Alaska. These electricians will work rotationally in a remote, industrial oil & gas environment, installing and maintaining engineered electrical systems. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, experienced in industrial electrical work, and able to adapt to challenging conditions in a remote setting.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or ten (10) years Journeyman electrician experience
• Minimum one (1) year related experience
• Alaska Journeyman’s Fitness Card or appropriate reciprocal fitness card from another state
• Understanding of basic electrical theory and NEC Code
• Knowledge of power delivery systems
• Ability to travel throughout Alaska as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical demands of the job
• Steel toed boots required
• Valid identification for TSA security checkpoint travel

• Previous North Slope experience
• Understanding of 1-line drawings, P&’s, and installation to drawing specification
• Experience installing 480V gear and transformers
• Familiarity with heat trace and heat trace components
• Experience with temporary power setups and wiring
• Medium voltage terminating experience
• Experience operating in classified areas and pouring classified TMC connections
• NFPA 70E training
• Driver’s License and acceptable driving record for company vehicle insurance
