Facility Equipment Mechanic

The Facility Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and associated equipment.

• Maintain competency in troubleshooting turbines, reciprocating gas compressors, air compressors, pumps and valves.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on utility systems and equipment.
• Inspect, identify and repair mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all inspection and maintenance activities.
• Organize and work alongside installation contractors.
• Must be competent with the use of computers for research, material ordering, writing and updating work orders.
• Maintain good communication and work in a team environment.
• Act as the singly point of with offsite and onsite vendors.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.
• Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
• Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years related work experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver License

• Experience working in the oil and gas industry
• Prior experience working on the North Slope
