This is a temporary position assisting full‑time mechanics with fleet maintenance. The role includes preventative and reactive maintenance and shop upkeep.
Primary Purpose Of Job & Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Assisting in diagnosing equipment and vehicle issues
- Performing basic maintenance such as oil changes, tire maintenance, and brake pad replacements
- Cleaning vehicles, shop equipment, and work areas
- Assisting with management of inventory and organization
- Supporting mechanics with inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Job Requirements /Expectations
Preferred mechanical experience includes a basic knowledge of engines and vehicle systems, familiarity with hand and power tools, and workspace safety practices. Additional desired skills include attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old; HS diploma or GED; and possess a valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions &Physical Requirements
Applicants must have the ability to perform medium‑to‑heavy manual labor.
