City & Borough of Sitka Alaska is seeking an Apprentice Journeyman Lineman to inspect, repair, install and maintain overhead and underground power lines and substations. You will work under supervision but perform many field duties essential to a safe and reliable utility system.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Alaska Journeyman certification, and a State Certificate of Fitness. You will climb poles, operate bucket trucks, and coordinate with team members to respond to outages
