Alpha Aviation LLC is a locally owned and operated helicopter company built on decades of experience flying and supporting remote operations throughout Alaska. Our team is passionate about this state and about rotary‑wing aviation — and it shows in everything we do. With a growing fleet of AS350 B2/B3s, Robinson R44II
s, and additional aircraft on the way, we’re building out our maintenance department with experienced, safety‑minded professionals who take pride in their work.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic to join our growing maintenance team. You’ll perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a dynamic mixed fleet, work alongside experienced pilots and fellow mechanics, and play a direct role in keeping our operations safe and airworthy. Whether you prefer a standard Monday–Friday schedule or a more flexible arrangement, we have options that work for you.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AS350 and R44 helicopters per FAA regulations and manufacturer standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics issues
- Install, modify, and repair aircraft systems and components
- Maintain accurate, complete records and required FAA documentation
- Communicate clearly with pilots, fellow mechanics, and management
- Support fleet expansion with new aircraft onboarding as our fleet continues to grow
$35–$60 per hour, depending on experience and field work requirements. We reward expertise — mechanics with strong AS350 experience and the ability to work in the field can expect compensation toward the higher end of this range.
Benefits- Competitive hourly rate with field pay premium
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Per diem for qualifying field assignments
Opportunities for career growth and advancement as our fleet and team expand
