The Alaska Marine Highway System is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused (non-permanent/on call) Ferry Terminal Agent 1 to join our team in Sitka, Alaska. If you're passionate about providing top-notch service and are excited to be part of Alaska's essential transportation network,

What you will be doing:

In this role, you’ll join a fun, team-oriented environment while helping keep Alaska’s ferry system moving. As a Ferry Terminal Agent 1, you’ll assist Alaskan residents and visitors with ticketing, reservations, boarding, and passenger information, while also supporting vessel operations by tying and untying vessels, operating the hydraulic ramp, staging vehicles for loading, and maintaining an organized terminal. This hands‑on position offers the opportunity to build valuable skills, gain experience in a dynamic maritime environment, and develop the knowledge needed to grow your career with AMHS and achieve your long‑term goals.
