Pay Range: $29.11 - $40.85
Oversees daily operations of SEARHC’s consortium-wide PAR Inventory Management system in Lawson, including reviewing daily reports, ensuring timely scanning and delivery of supplies, and periodic analysis of supply utilization to recommend changes in standard PAR levels.
Key Responsibilities- Develops and maintains PAR inventory control processes and policies aligning supply needs with inventory financial targets.
- Maintains appropriate PAR inventory and on‑hand supply levels, managing min/max and reorder points.
- Manages physical inventories, cycle counts, and PAR valuation reporting.
- Optimizes inventory levels for all store items and PAR inventory items.
- Monitors daily critical metrics/benchmarks and reports variances to management or supervision.
- Coordinates with clinical staff on backorders, assisting approval of substitute items.
- Implements LEAN Principles for continuous improvement and waste reduction.
- Travels to outlying clinics to assess and adjust PAR inventories.
- Coordinates and assists in regular inventory counts at all consortium locations.
- Works with supply chain analyst, general accounting, and stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory on the consortium balance sheet.
- Identifies trends in expired supplies and collaborates to correct root causes of waste.
- Prepares and distributes monthly benchmark reports on all supply activities; provides technical advice and resources to departments on PAR inventory needs.
- Tracks and monitors inventory turnover rates to recommend adjustments to minimums and maximums.
- Upon approval via Value Analysis/Standardization Committee, processes new inventory item requests.
- Coordinates technical objectives of inventory management and warehouse operations, managing stock at all warehouse locations to meet demand.
- Directs daily activities of all warehouse and PAR personnel, including recruitment, performance appraisals, training, scheduling, and timesheet approval.
- Moves items up to 500 pounds; lifts heavy items.
Other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities required.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent high school diploma with six years of experience in purchasing and inventory control systems in a healthcare setting.
- Experience using Lawson or inventory control/PAR management solutions preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting or inventory ERP computer systems.
- Skills in communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with diverse customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective management of staffing and timelines to ensure timely performance of day‑to‑day activities.
Pay Range: $29.11 - $40.85 per hour. Benefits include retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave, health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, and short‑ and long‑term disability.
