Telehandler

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced Telehandler Operators to support our groundwork and RC frame teams on a busy project in Sittingbourne. You will operate telehandlers safely to assist with materials handling lifting and distribution across live construction sites.

This is a Holiday Cover role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating telehandlers safely across site to distribute materials and support operations
• Assisting with the lifting and placing of materials and equipment as directed
• Carrying out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks
• Communicating service requirements to site management in good time
• Maintaining plant to a high standard and reporting any defects immediately
• Working as part of the site team to support programme delivery

REQUIREMENTS:

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Telehandler ticket*
• Proven experience operating telehandlers on live construction sites
• Reliable punctual and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

• CPCS / NPORS
  * Forward Tipping Dumper
• CPCS / NPORS
  * Ride-On Roller
• Safety Critical Medical
• 5 years of experience operating plant on construction sites

* Please note: to comply with client requirements we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement please still get in touch we are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
