Get ready to make a difference and join us as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in our proactive pumping station servicing teams, responsible for optimising performance and resilience of our assets by utilising technology such as Ovarro data. With support from a collaborative team, you will have an opportunity to develop your commercial and/ or industrial experience with assets such as: pumps, valves , gearboxes and motors .
Experience working with mechanical /Electrical control systems, telemetry systems and general water industry plant maintenance would be advantageous.
Starting Basic salary (plus standby & overtime payments): £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) £35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject), To be successful in this role, you will have obtained at least an NVQ level 2 (ideally level
3) Mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent), completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence.
