ALIYA Healthcare is seeking an AP Accountant to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team at our corporate office. This role supports the AP team and broader accounting department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, vendor management and assistance with month-end close activities in a fast paced healthcare environment.

Job Summary

The AP Accountant is responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This position will oversee various vendor accounts and review and record their respective invoices for accuracy. The AP Accountant will also assist the accounting team with various reconciliations, invoices, expense reports, and month-end close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices and payments
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records
  • Work close with the AP team and internal departments
  • Assist the AP team with Month-end close and audits
  • Support Ad-hoc Account projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or related field
  • Preferred 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with automated AP system
  • Sage Intacct experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an AP Team to ensure the team meets deadlines.
