Our lead teachers coordinate daily operations of assigned classes, planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities in a safe environment. They work directly with children and parents to provide quality service.
- Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities
- Maintain classroom safety and organization
- Communicate with parents on child progress and classroom events
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop engaging curriculum ideas
- Support professional development and continuous improvement
- Feel a sense of accomplishment witnessing children’s laughter and wonder
- Observe children’s interests and co‑create engaging curriculum
- Communicate with parents daily through apps and discussions
- Engage with colleagues and grow professionally
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- 1–2 years of related experience (preferred)
- Successfully completed state‑required pre‑service training
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, and faculty
- Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multitasking
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs. in support of child care programs
- Background check eligibility
