We are looking for a detail-oriented Crypto Accountant to support our growing client base of individuals and businesses. In this role, you will help manage personal financial records, prepare financial statements, assist with account reconciliations, and month‑end financial statement preparation. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on accuracy, compliance, and clear financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Reconciling Crypto Activity, Financial Statements & Reporting
- Understand tax treatment and workflows to reconcile the clients' crypto activity
- Present financial reports to clients and internal teams in a clear, concise way
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure clients maintain proper documentation for tax and legal purposes
- Stay informed about changing tax laws and regulations affecting individuals
- Client Communication & Support
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients regarding financial matters
- Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance with discretion and professionalism
- Additional Support
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks as needed to support client operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- EA or CPA designation is a plus (not required)
- 2-4 years of crypto reconciliation experience
- 2–5 years of experience in personal accounting, tax preparation, or financial planning support
- Experience working directly with clients, especially individuals
- Proficient in personal finance and tax software (e.g., Quick Books, Excel, and relevant tax prep tools)
- Strong spreadsheet and data organization skills
- Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive financial information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-experts
