Client Relationship Manager
EP Wealth Advisors (EPWA) is a wealth management advisory firm with over $40.5 billion in assets as of September 30, 2025. Our Skokie, IL office is hiring a Client Relationship Manager to serve as a first‑line supervisory leader, overseeing all client service and local operations in partnership with regional directors, wealth advisors, financial planners, and internal support teams.
Salary Range$85,000 – $110,000 plus annual bonus.
Job Description- Direct, lead, and oversee servicing of client relationships as primary point of contact for queries related to account maintenance, cash management, distributions, and investment reporting.
- Partner with wealth advisor, financial planner, and internal departments to ensure client requests are executed within defined service level agreements.
- Supervise, mentor, train, and develop associates, including coaching, training recommendations, and performance evaluations.
- Champion technology adoption, process improvements, CRM data integrity, and act as liaison between regional office and HQ.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with custodian partners, vendors, client professional contacts, and service providers.
- Collaborate with HQ departments (Operations, Compliance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure adherence to firm policies, conduct audit duties, and provide training to staff.
- Work with Human Resources to identify, interview, hire, onboard, and train new associates.
- Research and resolve routine to complex client issues, exercising sound business judgment within risk management criteria.
- Oversee new client onboarding activities, including documentation collection, process execution, portal setup, welcome calls, and proactive communication.
- Participate in project initiatives impacting client service and operations, including process development, project management, and training.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (equivalent education and experience considered).
- 7+ years of experience in investment advisory, asset management, or financial services, with 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients, prospects, and team members.
- Exceptional business judgment and focus on risk management.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with Tamarac Advisor View, CRM, eMoney, and custodian websites (Schwab, Fidelity) is highly desired.
