• Position:
  Physician Assistant - Orthopedics
• Location:
  
  Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL
• Full Time/Part Time:
  Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Hours:
  
  (4) 10-hour shifts between 6:00 a.m.
  
  - 4:00 p.m. One weekend every 6 weeks (2 12-hour shifts) and 1-2 major holidays per year required.
• Required Travel:
  Occasional travel to Evanston, Highland Park, and Swedish Hospitals may be required.

• License:
  Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Certification: CPR certification required.
• Experience:
  
  One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Surgical experience preferred.

• Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Perform independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established.
