Job Title: Senior RCM Collector
Location: Skokie, IL

Compensation: $26 – $30 / Hour (Contract-to-Hire)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hybrid schedule once trained (Monday & Friday remote; Tuesday–Thursday onsite)
About Our Client:Addison Group is partnering with one of our healthcare clients to identify an experienced Senior Revenue Cycle Management Collector. This organization offers a collaborative team environment, modern office space, and long-term growth potential.
Job Description:The Senior RCM Collector plays a key role in managing complex accounts receivable and resolving claim denials for Medicaid and managed care payers. This position focuses on Fee-for-Service (FFS) and CCBHC claims, ensuring payer compliance, monitoring regulatory changes, and supporting process improvement efforts across the revenue cycle team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage assigned accounts receivable and follow up on denied or unpaid claims
- Resolve complex Medicaid and Managed Medicaid billing issues
- Review payer guidelines and stay current on policy or billing updates
- Act as a primary point of contact for payer-related claim escalations
- Partner with internal billing and RCM teams to reduce future denials
- Accurately document collection activity within the EMR, payer portals, and tracking tools
- Analyze denial patterns and communicate trends to leadership
- Maintain and update payer-specific workflows for consistency and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including collections and denial management
- Strong background working with Medicaid and Managed Medicaid payers
- Experience with Aetna and Blue Cross is a plus
- Knowledge of authorization processes and payer requirements
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding; billing or coding certification preferred
- Experience using Care Logic or similar EMR systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
