Hours:

Nights – 3 consecutive 12 hours shifts Monday through Friday between 6:00 p.m.

- 6:00 a.m.
• Q4 weekends and 1-2 major holidays per year

Hourly Pay Range $61.22 - $85.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• License:
  Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree required;
  Master's degree preferred.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Experience:
  
  One year of Physician Assistant experience preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Surgical experience preferred.

• Provide comprehensive health care services for a diverse patient population in close collaboration with a team of surgeons and APPs.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients within orthopedic surgery.
• Provide surgical care for patients in various settings – emergency room, operating room, post-op, and non-op inpatient.
• First assist in emergent operations.
• Perform therapeutic procedures such as bedside wound debridements, I&Ds, difficult catheter placements, catheter irrigation, NGT placements, etc.
• Work collaboratively with various health care providers throughout the system.
