Food And Beverage Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for proper service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event patrons.
Responsibilities- Receives and fills drink orders from patrons or servers in a fast paced environment.
- Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification and adheres to all venue and company alcohol service policies and procedures.
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions.
- Collects payment from patrons for drinks served and makes correct change.
- Completes Cash Control Form Report thoroughly and accurately at the end of each shift.
- Performs opening and closing duties according to procedure.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications- Excellent customer relations, communications, and problem solving skills.
- Available to work primarily nights and weekends, and occasionally holidays.
- Positive and friendly demeanor.
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Bartending and customer service experience desired.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Current, valid driver’s license and a working phone that be accessed by building management personnel for business contact purposes.
- Must be able to obtain all State and local required certificates and licenses necessary to serve alcohol.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with venue staff and the general public.
- Maintain a calm, composed presence in a fast paced environment where multiple tasks occur simultaneously.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Remember previous learning material such as specifics, criteria, techniques, principles, and procedures.
- Put parts together to form a new whole or proposed set of operations.
- Identify choices and potential outcomes; determine importance; combine information to prioritize options and make decisions based on best and most important choice.
- Regularly requires reaching with hands and arms and communicating.
- Stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel frequently.
- Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, ability to adjust focus.
- Exposure to cold temperatures and elevated noise levels at events.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
- Noise level usually moderate.
