Salary Range
: $15.45 – $19.00 Hourly

• Assist with set‑up and breakdown of program equipment.
• Perform basic functions of program equipment, including scoreboards, gymnasium or facility lighting, basketball hoops and volleyball nets.
• Maintain accurate scoring and report scores during contests to officials and participants.
• Provide accurate score reporting to recreation supervisor using paper work methods.
• Maintain all league materials such as rosters, rule books and game balls.
• Observe safety precautions and follow proper safety and emergency procedures.
• Observe Skokie Park District, facility and program policy, procedures and rules at all times.
• Report violations of program rules and regulations and eject offenders from programs when necessary.
• Supervise aides and/or volunteers when assigned.
• Officiate games for the Pre‑K and Kindergarten basketball league.
• Help coaches set up and run practice session before each game.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to safety responsibilities and the District's Safety Manual and core values of commitment, service, integrity, openness, innovation and environmental stewardship.

Monday – Thursday 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm;
Sunday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High school diploma and/or some college preferred.
• Experience as a participant in a team sport or sufficient knowledge in operating an athletic competition required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Outgoing and able to converse with both adult and youth patrons in a friendly manner.
• Must obtain and keep current CPR and AED certifications.
