AP Accounting Representative (Slidell, LA/Hunt Valley, MD)

Individual will support accounts payable with invoice processing, invoice payments and discrepancy resolution; this includes reviewing invoices for reasonableness, allocability and allowability prior to obtaining coding and approvals for appropriate individuals. Individual will also respond to supplier e-mails, assist with 1099s and with other assignments as needed.

• Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner with internal and external contacts
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Word processing software skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies without deviating
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance derived from on‑the‑job experience
• Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience preferred

$44,300 - $64,900 per year.
