Inventory Control Clerk

Cooper Septic Service LLC in Slidell, LA is hiring for a part-time Inventory Control Clerk to organize septic system supplies and maintain accurate inventory through detailed record-keeping in the Slidell area. This position is part-time, 20 hours/week, typically 8 am – 12 pm, Monday through Friday. Flexible scheduling options may be available.

In this role, you will be the backbone that keeps operations flowing smoothly. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, demonstrate accountability, and report directly to the business owner. You will implement procedures, educate the team on updated inventory control document processes (including checklists and labeling), ensure the facility and trucks are fully stocked and organized, and use computer software to track inventory.

You will fill orders or replace materials as necessary, negotiate with vendors for the best price, coordinate warranty replacements, and prepare and validate shipments. You take pride in keeping the facility clean and organized.

• Relevant experience
• Computer savvy, including knowledge of Word and Excel
• A valid Class E driver’s license and reliable transportation

Any experience or knowledge of septic systems or plumbing is a plus!
