The Paver and Skid Steer Equipment Operator is a full-time, on-site position based in Slidell, LA. This role involves safely operating asphalt pavers, skid steers, and related paving equipment for commercial projects, including parking lots, streets, and driveways. Daily responsibilities include preparing work areas, loading and unloading materials, performing basic equipment checks, and assisting with grading, compaction, and finishing tasks. The operator works closely with the crew to maintain quality standards, follow project specifications, and adhere to safety procedures throughout each job.

• Experience operating asphalt pavers, skid steers, and related paving or construction equipment.
• Knowledge of basic paving processes, surface preparation, grading, and compaction techniques.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work site.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor, labor-intensive tasks, including lifting, standing, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Slidell, LA job site; CDL or additional equipment certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in asphalt, concrete, or general construction work is preferred but not required for motivated candidates.
