About This RoleThe Program Master Scheduler is responsible for development, coordination, and implementation of Program Master Schedules and their integration into program work products. The position will be a part of the program team and work day‑to‑day with program managers and control account managers.
- Develop and maintain the Program Integrated Master Plan/Schedule associated with the entire project lifecycle from RFP to program closeout, compliant with applicable DIDs, PASEG, GASP and WBS Standards.
- Lead regular status review meetings to capture accomplishments, resource and duration adjustments, and maintain interdependencies.
- Ensure integration and synchronization of cost and schedule data.
- Advise the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks.
- Identify, negotiate, and resolve conflicts between stakeholders in the scheduling process.
- Participate in external and internal reviews of the schedule, including surveillance and audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3‑6 years’ experience in scheduling within a project management, engineering development, manufacturing operation, or similar environment.
- Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining, and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs.
- Familiar with schedule management in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Deltek Open Plan.
- Proven working knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with implementing, tracking, and reporting schedule performance/earned value.
- Ability to derive, interpret, and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to senior leadership (e.g., schedule variance, SPI, milestone burndown, plan vs. actual).
- Ability to develop and report on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA).
- Experience supporting the development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and transitioning these into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interface effectively across the organization.
- Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN).
- Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
