Requirements

Must have:
  • Associates degree in IT or a related field preferred
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
  • Over 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clarify technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Strong customer service skills characterized by patience and professionalism

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, and prioritize incoming support requests via phone, email, and our ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine hardware issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Assist users with password resets, account lockouts, and basic access rights
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Set up and configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals for new hires
  • Oversee equipment deployment and retrieval during onboarding and offboarding
  • Conduct basic hardware diagnostics and arrange warranty repairs
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Address basic network connectivity challenges, including VPN, Wi-Fi, and wired connections
  • Assist remote staff with connectivity problems
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support
