Department: Service Desk

Location: Louisiana

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 / year

• System Installation and Maintenance:
  Set up and maintain surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control equipment, and ensure the stability and availability of these systems.
• Technical Troubleshooting:
  Provide expert onsite and remote technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues swiftly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

  Work closely with construction teams and external vendors to ensure our technology needs are met and exceeded.
• System Programming and Integration:
  Assist with programming existing systems, system integrations, and support for new installations, offering solutions that drive our mission forward.
• Proactive Maintenance:
  Lead the charge in proactive work, focusing on system maintenance, backups, and upgrades to preempt potential issues.
• Documentation and Training:
  Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials for staff, conducting formal and informal training sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Emergency Support:
  Respond promptly and professionally to after‑hours emergency calls and requests as needed, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in service.

• 2-5 years of hands‑on experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low‑voltage communication industry, installing field devices, and system programming.
• Familiarity with leading security and access control systems. Specific product knowledge is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, gateways, routers, and switches.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a customer‑first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or technical schooling preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Must be legally authorized to work and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
