We are seeking an experienced and dependable Help Desk / IT Administrator to join our Information Technology team. This position will provide day-to-day technical support to employees while assisting with the administration, maintenance, and security of the company’s IT environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on IT administration experience and a strong foundation in desktop support, Windows administration, networking, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VPN, and cloud technologies.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and taking ownership of technical problems from initial report through resolution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, network, printer, email, account, and access-related issues.
Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
Provision and decommission employee computers and other company devices.
Create, modify, disable, and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access.
Assist with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra .
Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file shares, and Windows Server environments.
Assist with server monitoring, maintenance, patching, backups, and troubleshooting.
Install, configure, update, and maintain company software and endpoint applications.
Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and general network connectivity issues.
Support printers, mobile devices, conference room equipment, and other business technology.
Assist with endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, access controls, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Maintain accurate IT asset, inventory, licensing, and equipment records.
Document technical issues, solutions, system configurations, and internal IT procedures.
Escalate complex infrastructure, security, application, and development-related issues when appropriate.
Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, deployments, migrations, and other technology initiatives.
Provide professional and patient technical assistance to employees with varying levels of technical experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of hands-on professional IT experience
, including technical support, systems administration, help desk, or a comparable IT role.
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
At least one relevant CompTIA certification
, such as A+, Network+, or Security+.
Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server-based business environments.
Experience supporting Microsoft 365.
