We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Service Supervisor to support our Nucor Rebar Fabrication South Central division, based in Flowood, MS or Slidell, LA, to lead detailing and post-sale functions while ensuring operational excellence and profitability.

In this role, you will serve as an active member of the South Central Leadership Team, partnering with the Branch Manager and Sales Service Team to support growth, manage commercial risk, and maintain high performance standards.

WhatYou’ll Do
- Manage the detailing services and post-sale functions including administrative support so that work assigned to the location is properly detailed, coordinated, and delivered on time to customers.
- Coordinate outside detailing requirements and contracts with vendors.
- Supervise and lead the Sales Service Team, including Rebar Detailers and Rebar Construction Project Managers.
- Serve as an active member of the South Central Leadership Team with a demonstrated commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Productivity.
- Develop strong, professional working relationships with customers and internal departments.
- Ensure price, schedule, and scope clarity on all assigned work.
- In conjunction with the Branch Manager, evaluate, oversee, and manage commercial risk.
- Travel to sales meetings, customer offices, and job sites as needed, potentially on short notice.
- Develop and implement teammate training and personal development programs and evaluations.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to the Sales Service Team.
- Develop and maintain Sales Service policies, procedures, and practices.
- Drive department performance standards to ensure safety, productivity, quality, and profitability goals are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Must possess at least one of the following:
- Associate’s degree in engineering, business, or construction management.
- 3+ years of rebar detailing experience.
- 3+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience successfully leading teams.
- Ability to travel to job sites throughout the region, often with short notice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of combined leadership experience in engineering, detailing, estimating, sales service, sales of fabricated products, or related fields.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of profitability and commercial risk.
- Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work efficiently and accurately.
- Leadership presence with the willingness to address challenges and alignment issues directly.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
- High level of accountability and ability to hold others accountable for desired results.
- Regular travel between Flowood, MS and Slidell, LA locations required.
- Ability to access multi-level job sites when necessary.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when visiting job sites.
- Flexible schedule with hours that may extend beyond regular business days.
