Licensed Practical Nurse – Outpatient

• Provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness.
• Responsible for performing individualized direct client care.
• Performs standard nursing services, including administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients.
• Participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary Treatment Team.

• Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi‑state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC).

Appointment Type: Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to serve a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.

Compensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.

• LPN 1: $19.48/hour minimum – $28.90/hour maximum
• LPN 2: $20.84/hour minimum – $30.92/hour maximum
• LPN 3: $22.30/hour minimum – $33.08/hour maximum

Career Progression: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 1, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 2 or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 3
