Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified CVOR RN in Slidell, Louisiana, 70458!

Registered Nurse – CVOR

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite | Call required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays | 2 weekends per 6-week schedule

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
• Support a high-volume surgical suite handling approximately 10–25 cases per day across 7 rooms
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes throughout all phases of the perioperative process
• Complete required facility orientation modules and maintain compliance with all unit and facility standards

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (CVOR experience required)
• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA required
• Current NURSYS report (within 4 weeks of submission date)
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (address on driver's license used for verification)
• 2 Manager or Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references not accepted); PDF format required

• First-time travelers will be considered provided they have sufficient OR experience
• Familiarity with high-volume cardiovascular surgical environments

• Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket costs for travelers
• Orientation is held five days a week and modules are completed during paid orientation hours
