We are seeking a Senior Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will be expected to step in, take ownership, and deliver results right away.
In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the community meet company standards and applicable laws. As the Senior Service Technician, you will:
- Lead, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and completing repairs
- Provide expert‑level troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances
- Be accountable for a 24‑hour on‑call schedule, including personal availability for emergencies such as snow, ice, or urgent site issues
- Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials
- Establish and drive schedules – on‑call coverage, preventive maintenance, make‑readies, and daily work orders
- Conduct regular inspections of community buildings and vacant units
- Execute tasks assigned by the Service Manager with urgency and accountability

Whatwe’ll expect from you
- Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Ability to live within a 30‑minute commute of the property
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred
- One‑year certificate, 2–4+ years of related experience, or equivalent education
- Ability to lead, work fast, and operate without constant supervision
- Pay Range: $24.00–$26.00/hr
- Up to 50% Rent Discount
- Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions – paid monthly
- On‑call Appreciation – $15
/day for holding the on‑call phone - Employee referral program – up to $750
