- Receive and process donated clothing, shoes, household goods, and other items through the drive-thru operation at the Fixed Donation Center (FDC).
- Provide excellent customer service by professionally greeting and assisting donors while promoting the organization’s mission and community impact.
- Collaborate with truck drivers, supervisors, and team members to organize, sort, transport, and prepare donated goods for processing and recycling.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company operational, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Safely load and unload donor vehicles, carts, containers, and box trucks while following established safety procedures.
- Inspect, sort, and categorize donated items according to operational guidelines and quality standards.
- Prepare and organize materials and products for recycling, distribution, or further processing.
- Operate effectively in both indoor and outdoor work environments, including exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Move, transport, and handle carts, bins, and donated goods throughout the workday.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
- Ability to understand, follow, and apply company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced work environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with donors, team members, and management.
- Ability to accurately maintain records and communicate operational updates and concerns to management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
