Position Summary
Full-time temporary position teaching in the Mathematics and Statistics Program for the 2026-27 academic year. The teaching loadis 24 semester-hours per year. Courses are taught in-person oncampus. The successful applicant will be expected to teach mathematics and statistics courses for general education and engagein scholarship and service to the institution.
Minimum QualificationsMasters degree in mathematics or the mathematical sciences(including statistics, or mathematics education) with evidence of effective teaching experience at the college level. Successful performance in an interview, including teaching demonstration. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred QualificationsPhD in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Statistics with adocumented history of effective teaching at a four-year institutionor directing faculty-student research projects. Experience teaching majors that are not in STEM is preferred.
