• Lead your room effectively and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Plan and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Work collaboratively with your team to deliver high‑quality care and education.
• Maintain a strong partnership with parents and guardians through regular communication and updates.
• Ensure all activities are safe and stimulating, encouraging children to explore, play, and learn.
• Support staff in their professional development, mentoring them and providing guidance as necessary.
• Adhere to nursery policies and procedures and ensure compliance with safeguarding regulations.
• Develop relationships with children that help them feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

• A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a nursery or early‑years setting, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for working with young children and helping them develop and grow.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate your team.
