Great opportunity at an award‑winning Nursery in Langley for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week and the Nursery opening times are 07:30‑18:00. This is a large nursery with 10 rooms and they offer great career progression into senior roles and continuous career support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 Childcare qualification that is recognised by the EYFS.

• Viewing planning sheets and record‑keeping of all the staff in your room
• Ensuring routines are followed and run smoothly
• Ensuring new decisions are taken on board and maintained in the room at all times
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed by all staff
• Being an excellent role model to the other staff in your room

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare education
• Experience providing play and learning opportunities for children
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to be organised and efficient
• The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
• Acting as a key‑worker and observing
• A working knowledge of the Children’s Act
• Experience working with toddlers or preschool children
• Good communication skills with both children and parents
• Ability to form good interactions with children and use one's own initiative
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the EYFS is a must
