Lunchtime Assistant (Term Time)
Hours:
11:30am–1:00pm.
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to support children during mealtimes and outdoor play in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise and engage positively with children.
- Encourage good table manners and positive behaviour.
- Assist with basic needs.
- Support social interaction.
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Help set up and tidy lunch areas.
- Maintain cleanliness.
- Work closely with the wider nursery team to ensure smooth daily routines.
- Hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
- Be patient, approachable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Have good communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting young children.
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
