Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Early Years Nursery Education Worker (Sc5) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality early education and care for young children. As a Senior Early Years Worker, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our educational programs. You will work collaboratively with a team of educators to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years.
Your expertise in early childhood education will help foster a love for learning, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. You will have the opportunity to guide and mentor junior staff, contributing to their professional development while maintaining a focus on delivering outstanding childcare. - Plan and deliver high-quality educational activities and experiences for children aged 0-5 years
- Assess and monitor children s development, planning appropriate next steps in their learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment
- Engage and involve parents and caregivers in their children s learning and development
- Supervise and support junior staff, facilitating professional growth and development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation regarding child welfare and safety
- Maintain accurate records of child progress and development, preparing reports for management and parents
- A relevant qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 or above)
- Demonstrated experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and mentor junior staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for working with young children and understanding their developmental needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and best practices in child welfare
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.47
