This large hotel is part of a medium-sized hotel group with properties in London and the countryside. They cater for a wide range of guests, including golf groups, conferences, banquets, functions, business and leisure guests throughout the year. This presents opportunities to grow your career and contribute to a multi-outlet F&B operation that includes Banqueting, Bar, Restaurant and a golf course.

As Sous Chef you and the Head Chef will develop and manage the kitchen on a day-to-day basis. You will mentor and guide the team to cope with the demands of a busy kitchen. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ Sous Chef experience in a 4-star hotel, with experience in both restaurant and banqueting service. You should be able to stay calm under pressure and help the brigade perform at their best.

You should be ambitious, an excellent communicator, and able to integrate smoothly into the team.

There is no on-site accommodation provided, so own transport will be advantageous.
