As a Roofers Mate you will work alongside experienced roofers on reactive and planned maintenance across commercial, retail and industrial sites. This hands‑on role offers genuine development opportunities for a long‑term career in roofing and working at height, supporting roofing works and helping to deliver safe, high‑quality repairs every day.

• Work as part of a team on reactive and planned roofing maintenance
• Assist with cladding, commercial, traditional and industrial roofing works
• Support guttering repairs and replacements
• Work safely at height on a daily basis
• Complete on‑site risk assessments and job reports using mobile devices
• Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service
• Be flexible with start times, travel and occasional weekend work
• Participate in an on‑call rota where required
• Continuously learn new skills and methods on site

• Full UK driving licence
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in your work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work at height and learn a skilled trade

• CSCS (Labourer or Skilled Worker)
• IPAF (1b, 3a, eB)
• PASMA
• First Aid
• NVQ in Roofing, Slating & Tiling, Sheeting & Cladding
• Experience identifying and repairing roofing leaks

• Fully equipped vehicle and fuel card
