Job Description

Electrician - Testing and Remedial - Mobile - 18 Edition, Slough - to £45,000 plus commercial van and overtime @x1.5 (to £10k per annum) so £55k package with overtime.

My client, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management organisations, is seeking a skilled and flexible mobile electrician with an emphasis on testing and remedial work.

• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works.
• Complete small‑scale installations and minor upgrades as required.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and point‑of‑work assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices.
• Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights and regional travel.

• Certified in City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification.
• Proven experience in electrical testing (EICRs) and remedial work in commercial environments.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card).
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours, including weekends and overnight, compensated at enhanced overtime rates.

• Salary up to £45,000.
