Mechanical Ventilation Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Complex – Slough – Up to £50,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to join a leading FM service provider based at a prestigious commercial complex near Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑established engineering team, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical ventilation and HVAC systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial ventilation maintenance and be looking to join a company that offers plenty of overtime, ongoing training, and genuine opportunities for career progression.

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 17:00

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical ventilation systems.
• Maintaining AHUs, extraction systems, fans, motors, dampers, ductwork, and VAV/VRF systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults across ventilation equipment.
• Completing belt changes, filter replacements, bearing lubrication, and fan adjustments.
• Inspecting ductwork systems and ensuring compliance with TR19 and industry standards.
• Working closely with the wider HVAC and M&E engineering teams.
• Supervising specialist subcontractors when required.
• Completing maintenance records and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Ventilation Systems.
• 3–5 years' experience maintaining commercial ventilation systems.
• Proven background within commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
