The below job description will outline this position of:
Fire & Security Engineer

Typically, this person will be an experienced Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in electronic security systems, particularly CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for a 50/50 split between installation and service work, covering commercial client sites across the Slough and surrounding areas.

Duties and responsibilities of the Fire & Security Engineer will be:

• Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of electronic security systems.

• Install, commission and maintain Hikvision CCTV systems.

• Install, maintain and configure Paxton access control systems.

• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure systems remain fully operational.

Qualifications and requirements for the Fire & Security Engineer:

• Experience with Hikvision CCTV would be highly advantageous.

• Experience with Paxton access control systems.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

Working Hours & Package:

• Basic salary of £38,000 – £42,000, depending on experience.

• No call-out or on-call requirement.

• Approximately 50% installation and 50% service/maintenance.
