PACADAR U.K. is looking for a skilled Electrical / Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our our heavy precast concrete manufacturing facility at London Thamesport. - Keep Production Moving: Diagnose, fault-find, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Heavy Machinery Maintenance: Maintain specialized industrial plant equipment, including gantry cranes, overhead cranes, generators, presses, and lathes.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities strict comply with UK industrial health and safety regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to optimize machinery performance.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in industrial maintenance (Heavy industry, precast concrete, or manufacturing sector is highly desirable).
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent European qualification (e.g., Formación Profesional / FP) in Electrical/Electromechanical Maintenance.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Certifications: Forklift or Crane operation licenses are a major advantage.
- Attributes: A proactive team player, solution-oriented, comfortable working at heights, and physically fit for an operational role.
